The future of baggage tracking
Pinger approached Breadware with functional hardware and a partially completed IoT solution, but needed help creating a firmware application to enable long-lifetime operation, secure OTA (over-the-air) updates, and compliance with FAA emission requirements.
The Pinger solution had to be small, inexpensive, robust, easily integrated into existing terminal workflows, and meet the elevated security standards of the FAA.
Pinger leveraged Breadware’s experience developing IoT asset trackers to quickly create their pilot units. Pinger was then able to begin field testing and successfully landed multi-month, multi-city implementation tests with major airline brands.

“We approached Breadware to develop some Bluetooth firmware within a pretty demanding time frame, and they delivered bug-free work on time, on budget. It required a minimum of tweaks to optimize it, and it has performed flawlessly over tens of thousands of test cycles. You cannot ask for more than that.”
